Fear. That is the first thing that pops into your mind when you discover you will be having a preemie. Fear they will not survive, fear that if they do survive there will be health complications. Fear that they will be in the hospital until they are strong enough to come home. Fear that you will not be able to take care of them when they do finally come home.
But the estimated 15 million preemies born annually globally are fighters.
