The busy holiday’s often leaves families starting off the new year exhausted and ready to get back to rouine. It’s what I call the Holiday Sleep Hangover. The new year begins with creating resolutions and typically our focus is on eating better and working out more. But if your family has accumulated a sleep debt throughout this past year it’s time to focus on sleep health too.
It’s difficult to only put a focus on exercise and nutrition when we aren’t meeting our basal sleep needs and chipping away at that sleep debt is a great way make the improvements in your family’s self-care.
