Seasoned Pita Chips

You’ll Need

  • 3–4 whole-wheat pitas, each cut into 8 triangular pieces
  • ¼ cup olive oil
  • 1–2 tsp chili powder
  • 1–2 tsp cumin
  • 1 tsp salt

Prep and Cook

    Preheat an oven to 400˚F. Place the pitas in a large bowl and toss with the olive oil, 1 teaspoon chili powder, 1 teaspoon cumin and salt. Add more spices if you think the chips need it.

    Spread the pita pieces in an even layer on a baking sheet and bake for 7–8 minutes or until golden brown and crisp. Allow to cool before serving. Store in an airtight container for up to 4 days.

    Serve with store-bought salsa or homemade peach salsa.
