No Bake Energy Balls

These no-bake peanut butter balls are the perfect recipe for kids of any age who are getting started with cooking. Because they’re no-bake, no need to worry about a hot stove. Add to that, all the ingredients can be sampled safely while you’re preparing them (as in, no worries about raw flour and eggs), and as an added bonus, the recipe is so flexible that exact measurement doesn’t really matter.

You know, for those kiddos out there wanting to double the chocolate chips.

Makes about 20 balls

You’ll Need

  • 1 cup of rolled oats (also known as large flake oats)
  • ½ cup natural peanut butter
  • ⅓ cup liquid honey
  • ½ cup ground flaxseed

  • 1 tsp vanilla (optional)
  • ¼ tsp salt
