Greater Orleans Canada Day Celebration
In Orleans, head over to Petrie Island for the day that includes visits from Ray's Reptiles, Circus Delights and Radical Science. Older kids can try their hand at beach volleyball or enjoy the musical acts on stage. There's plenty of space for a picnic lunch or dinner, and of course, the evening ends with a bang with fireworks starting at 10 pm. Good to know: remember, no dogs are allowed on the island, and there's no parking on Canada Day, so take a shuttle bus from Place D'Orleans or the Park and Ride lot on Trim Road at the Taylor Creek Business Park. Best for: families of all ages
