Spooky and Fun Halloween Dinner Recipes - SavvyMom

I really like the idea of serving a special Halloween dinner on October 31st before we take the kids out trick or treating. However, the reality is that when the date falls on a weeknight, things are just too chaotic to manage making something extra special to eat (hello, pizza or these easy Halloween dinner ideas).

Instead, a few years ago, we decided to plan a Halloween dinner for a few nights leading up to Halloween, when the mood is ultra festive and the kids are definitely feeling caught up in the spirit of the season.

Here at SavvyMom HQ, we’ve created A LOT of eerie eats over the years, and I’ve revisited the creations and selected five of my favourite Halloween dinner ideas to serve to the family. With Halloween fast approaching, why not consider adding a few of these dishes to your meal plan next week?

Bloodied Baked Ribs

Don’t let the long cooking time scare you away from making this recipe. Almost all of it is hands-off, meaning you can pop the ribs in the oven and curl up on the couch for a spooky movie marathon with the kids while you wait for dinner to cook. Sounds like a perfect Sunday afternoon to me!

One-Pot Creamy Pumpkin Pasta
