In November, the days get shorter and the list gets longer. There never seems to be enough time, let alone ‘you’ time—we know. But there is solace in knowing that Silk Road is a little gem you can visit this month where ‘you’ can warm up with some tea and tranquility and start your holiday planning, too.
Located just outside the Gates of Chinatown on Government Street, this tea emporium started in 1992 by two women whose aim was to share their knowledge of the ancient benefits and traditions of tea with the Victoria population. We love the welcoming atmosphere at Silk Road. As soon as you walk in, you’re handed a warm sampling of tea and a smile. We also love the range of gifts here—from uniquely beautiful mugs to an antique teapot or a magnificently scented cream.
