We’re fortunate to live here in Lotus Land, where yoga studios are plentiful and there is no shortage of classes and instructors. But when was the last time you actually tried a new class? If it’s been a while, we think it’s time you got a new passport—a Passport to Prana, that is. It’s the latest gift from the world of yoga—a cost-effective, new program that’s guaranteed to expand your yogi horizons.

Passport to Prana (prana means breath in case you’re not up on your Sanksrit) is a new Lower Mainland program offering you the ability to test-drive up to 30 great yoga classes around town until July 31, 2010. Designed to encourage all wannabe yogis to try a studio and to help seasoned vets try something new, Passport to Prana is a $30 card entitling its holder to one yoga class at each of the 30 participating studios. It gives everybody (no matter how much yoga experience you have) the freedom to try the best yoga studios from Langley to Whistler by eliminating the cost barrier that comes with yoga in the big city. Since the average yoga class in Vancouver is $18, this is a true deal at only $1 per class. Every style of yoga is represented from Ashtanga, Vinyasa, and Kundalini, to Hatha, Moksha and Bikram.
