‘Om’ Believable

Kids Exercise

Before all your schedules get too jammed, may we suggest signing the kids up for something that might bring some Zen into your day.
Yoga is an excellent way to learn valuable techniques to help counter stress and relax while developing a positive body image and outlook on life.

Considered the ‘pioneer’ of kids’ yoga in Toronto, YogaBuds has been successfully teaching kids’ ages 5–14 how to ‘downward dog’ since 1994. Director Temmi Ungerman Sears uses her 30 years of experience to teach different posture and breathing exercises while incorporating fun activities and songs to keep children entertained and rejuvenated. Located near Bathurst and Eglinton, the studio is exquisite yet comfortable, offering a large area for exercise and a full kitchen for parents to relax and enjoy a cup of coffee.
Good to know: Fall registration is currently underway for classes that run from September 12 to December 14. Classes are small (maximum 12 kids per session) so sign up as soon as possible. $17 per 45 minute class.
