The holidays may be behind us, but there is still plenty of fun to be had in Calgary this winter. Check out our list of 12 family-friendly events to visit with your family in YYC this January!

Dive-In Movie at Village Square Leisure Centre

Pucks for Paws – Calgary Hitmen Fundraiser

What could be better than watching a hockey game that benefits a good cause? On January 10th, watch the Hitmen take on the Lethbridge Hurricanes. $5 from each $15 ticket will benefit the Four Feet Companion Foundation, which helps to provide financial and volunteer resources to the Alberta rescue community in order to help animals in need.

Calgary Motorcycle Show

Motorcycles, ATVs, scooters and side-by-sides are all on display at this year’s Calgary Motorcycle Show. Meet experts in the sport, get a look at this year’s gear and apparel, and start dreaming of warmer temperatures when you can go for a ride! Kiddos between 18 months and 5 years can try their hand at fun on two wheels in the free Strider Adventure Zone, where they can ride a Strider bike over rumble strips, up and down ramps and around tires for 15 minutes.

PAW Patrol Live! The Great Pirate Adventure

Everyone’s favourite pups are back with a new adventure at the Jubilee! Watch as Ryder and the PAW Patrol rescue Cap’n Turbot from a mysterious cavern as they make their way to join in the fun of Adventure Bay’s Pirate Day. Tracker, the brand new PAW Patrol Pup, will help the rest of the gang as they follow a treasure map to see what’s at the end of the trail before Mayor Humdinger gets there first. This fun-filled evening is sure to thrill every PAW Patrol fan in the family!
