Every year during the holidays, I dedicate one entire Saturday afternoon to holiday cookie baking. I send my husband and oldest son off for the afternoon, and my youngest and I bake up batches of spiced gingerbread cut into assorted shapes for the teachers, coaches, instructors and neighbours.
To get myself organized, I’ve created a holiday baking essentials checklist. This list has close to everything you’ll need for your baking extravaganzas this season. Feel free to bookmark this page for a quick reminder of what you’ll need before you go shopping.
Before I start baking, I like to pull out my recipes and go through this list checking off everything I need. Then I crosscheck it with what I already have on hand and make a shopping list for anything I may need.
I hope you find this helpful as you’re getting ready for the holidays this year!
