Tea Party Etiquette
You’ll Need
- Assorted teas such as Earl Grey, black, lemon and herbal
- Milk and cream
- Honey, sugar cubes, lemon slices
- Assorted teapots
Prep and Cook
- Bring a large kettle filled with water to a boil.
- Pour some of the water into the teapots and let it sit for a minute or two. This will keep the tea hot. Pour out the water and place two tea bags into each pot.
- Fill the pot with more boiling water and allow the tea to steep for one to two minutes, depending on the type of tea you use.
- Serve the tea with milk, cream, sugar cubes, honey slices and lemon.
Good to Know: To mimic a true high tea, serve the tea to the guests instead of letting them serve themselves.
