If there’s something we wholeheartedly support here at SavvyMom, it’s helping out new mothers.
The complete and utter life changes you go through when you become a mom for the first time is no minor experience. Which is why we were more than thrilled when Dr. Sarah Mickeler created and opened West End Mamas, a wellness clinic that caters specifically to mothers, with two locations in Toronto.
The clinics—one located at Jane and Bloor and the other in Newmarket—are home to pelvic floor physiotherapists, lactation consultants, parenting coaches, psychotherapists, doulas, homeopaths, nutritionists, dieticians, chiropractors, naturopaths, acupuncturists and educators.
Dr. Sarah (winner of the second place 2018 SavvyMom Award for Best New Mom Entrepreneur!) wanted to make her clinics a place for women in the local community regardless of whether or not they are patients. So the studio space is also a place where women can participate in classes, workshops and support groups that further aim at supporting motherhood.
If it takes a village to raise a child, and we all know by now that it does, having a place like this to turn to for support is a great start.
You can book appointments online for both the Toronto and Newmarket/York region locations, or email with any questions. If you’re more than 36 weeks pregnant, they ask that you please call.
