Peach Salsa and Spiced Pita Chips

A few weeks ago I brought a snack into the Savvy Mom office when I popped in for our weekly editorial meeting. The peach salsa and spiced pita chips were popular with everyone so we thought it was worth sharing the recipes here, for you.
Both would be a great addition to the school lunch box, with a few modifications (maybe skip the jalapeno in the salsa), and if you’€™re entertaining on one of the last weekends of summer (sob!), this recipe will make perfect use of the glorious peaches lining the markets right now.

The pita chips can be adapted to include the spices that you’€™re fond of’€”I’€™ve made mine with minced garlic and oregano, and cinnamon and brown sugar. The kids love them, they’€™re good for you and they take less than 10 minutes to make, which is pretty savvy if you ask me.
