Did you know that moms answer about 300 questions a day?
That sounds about right to us, but what if we have our own questions from time to time? Moms need to know about child care programs, family resource centres, health programs, parenting classes, seniors’ services, homecare and mental health support groups (among others) in their community.
We know a simple way to find answers—all you have to do is pick up the phone and dial 211. It’s a free helpline for information and referrals to community, social, health and government services. You can call them 24 hours a day, every day of the week. They provide the service in 150 languages and they work to connect people to more than 56,000 programs and services.
When you don’t have the answers to your own questions and you don’t know where to turn, call 211. It’s the best place to start.
