Jump Up and Get Down: XTreme Trampoline Park in Ottawa’s West End

There may be a chill in the air, but we know an awesome place where kids can warm up. It’s called XTreme and it’s the new indoor trampoline park in Ottawa’s West End.

We love the funky colours and bright, natural light of the jumping arena. The Crash Pit is a fave—get a bouncing start on a trampoline and hurl yourself into a foam-filled giant pit, or play ball at one of three basketball nets or in the dodgeball pit.

Got little ones? We’ve saved the best feature for last: the toddler area. Separated from the rest of the gym by fencing and limited to kids 42 inches and under in height, there’s a perfectly sized little foam pit and smaller trampolines—including two surrounded by a small padded bench for really little ones so that mom or dad can provide a steadying arm. Meet up with other parents during Toddler Time, which is every weekday between 9:30 and 11, and pay half price for each child after the first one—now that’s fun and frugal.

Good to Know: Jumping socks are required, but a pair of cute red socks is included in the price of admission, so don’t panic if you’ve left yours at home.

Jump over there now.

Winters in Ottawa are long, but we’ve got 8 more ways to keep them active in our 9 Indoor Playgrounds in Ottawa.
