Strollercise at Boomerang Kids Ottawa

It’s finally spring in the capital, which means it’s time to open those windows, breathe in some fresh air and clean out your closets.  Cross ‘get outside for activity’ and ‘get rid of clutter’ off your list at the same time by paying a visit to your local Boomerang Kids.

Starting this week, the effervescent Jules of Fitness With Jules will be starting her fun and popular strollercise classes at Boomerang Kids locations across the city. If you can get yourself and the baby dressed and out of the house (no easy task, we know), then you’re ready for this gentle way to kick start your way back to fitness. There’s plenty of encouragement, reassurance, energy, and best of all, socialization with other new moms. Groups meet at 10 am on Mondays (Bank Street), Tuesdays (Orleans), Wednesdays (their new location in Barrhaven) and Fridays (Kanata).

While you’re there, remember that all Boomerang Kids locations still offer a great way to reuse and recycle kids’ clothes. Drop off a bag of clean, great-condition outfits that your kids outgrew too quickly, and then scout out some replacement togs for summer. Or, get the kids to put together a donation box themselves, and let them use the credit to pick a reward from the extensive collection of gently used games, books and toys. There’s plenty of brand new finds as well, from Calikids quick-dry summer hats to Level Six swimwear to Baby Blocks baby food freezer storage systems.

Sometimes you just need to know where to start with your spring fresh start.

A new season means new duds for the kids. We’ve got them (and you) covered with our 9 Cool Kids Stores in Ottawa.
