CARRIE SOTO IS BACK: A NOVEL by TAYLOR JENKINS REID
Everything Taylor Jenkins Reid touches turns to gold, so you know this one will be good. From the author of bestsellers Malibu Rising, Daisy Jones & The Six, and The Seven Husbands of Evelyn Hugo (two of which are soon-to-be television dramas) comes a new novel about a legendary retired athlete who decides to make a comeback. OUR MISSING HEARTS by CELESTE NG
You’ll have to wait till October for this one, but be sure to add it to your pre-orders so you get it right away when it hits bookshops. From the author of Little Fires Everywhere and Everything I Never Told You, is a suspenseful novel that explores the themes of motherhood and the power of art. It tells the story of a 12-year-old boy who lives with his father, who goes on a journey to find his mother, a Chinese American poet who left the family years ago, and whose work has been suppressed due to their society’s quest for preserving “American culture” and ridding itself of all Asian influence.
