From yummy chocolate treats to underground mine rides, there’s a little bit of everything for Easter in Vancouver. With many annual events returning from hiatus, this spring season has plenty of activities to choose from, for kids – and adults – of all ages, throughout the Vancouver region.

Rabbitats Easter Bunny Fest

Help support the Rabbitats Rescue Society by taking part in the 2022 Bunny Fest, a full weekend of bunnies, family-friendly activities, local artisan vendors, a craft market and informational sessions. Entry for $5 mininum donation per person, but a $15 package includes face painting, hot chocolate, and more. All proceeds go to Rabbitats.
West End Easter Carnival

For kids ages 2 to 7, enjoy an easter egg hunt, arts and crafts, play time and more, including a photo booth and face painting. Pre-registration is required.
Easter at the Cannery
When: April 15 to 18

Head to the fishing community of Steveston and check out this local historic site for a full weekend of crafts, story time, games, and a salmon-themed scavenger hunt. Activities are suitable for kids aged two to six though all ages are welcome to visit the cannery. Hunt starts every 30 minutes between 11 am and 3:30 p.m.
The Big Easter Run 2022

This event returns for 2022 with 5 km and 10 km run and walk, along with a 1km Little Bunny Run/Walk around scenic Jericho Beach Park. There will be a DJ for entertainment, egg hunt for the 1 km participatns, and prize giveaways. Register online.
Stanley Park Easter Egg Train

Enjoy a ride through the forest on the popular Stanley Park mini train. Meet the Easter Bunny, chase bubbles, enjoy snacks from on-site vendors and enjoy the fun displays around the plaza. Tickets available only online in advance.
Easter at Britannia Mine

Head up the Sea to Sky highway and make a daytrip to Britannia Beach for the special Easter celebration at the historic mine. The museum will be hosting a special seasonal underground tour as well as the regular BOOM! Experience, as well as a self-led scavenger hunt.
North Delta Lions Club Easter Egg Hunt

For kids aged one through 11, this easter egg hunt kicks off at 2 pm. The North Delta Lions Club have been hosting this event for more than 50 years. No easter baskets.
Chilliwack Tulip Festival

Not just for Easter in Vancouver but happening throughout the month, this festival is a great way to enjoy the colours of the season with millions of tulip bulbs blooming each spring. Guests can explore more than 20 acres featuring more than 25 varieties of tulips, along with 16 types of double daffodils and 10 varieties of hyacinths. The festival timing is weather dependent so check their website regularly for opening dates.
