Baby Shower Activity
Creative and sentimental, this activity is perfect for the crafty types.
You’ll Need:
- White onesies, enough for one per guest
- Washable fabric glue
- Ribbons
- Buttons
- Scissors
- Rulers/measure tapes
- Scraps of fabric
- Coloured threads and sewing needles
- Scraps of paper (for tracing shapes and sketching)
- Pens/pencils (for sketching designs)
How to Make:
- Set up a table with some pre-cut standard shapes (circles, squares and triangles are most useful) in a variety of colourful scraps of fabric.
- Have larger pieces of fabric available for those who want to create their own shapes and designs.
- Using fabric glue, paste the shapes to make designs or pictures onto the front of the onesie. (Some ideas for designs include: ice cream cones, rainbows, cupcakes, flowers, boats, sunshine.)
- Decorate with ribbons, buttons, etc. by stitching them on onsies with needles and thread.
