I was lucky enough to have Genevieve photograph my wedding way back in 2009, and I’ve been following her photography journey ever since. She takes breathtaking engagement, wedding, and food photos, in addition to stunning family shots. Full family sessions cost $600, and you receive 60+ images. She also announces limited spots for mini sessions via her Instagram, so follow her and keep your eyes peeled for a fall mini announcement coming in July. Mini sessions are $300 for 30 minutes and 30 images.

I can’t speak highly enough about our experiences with Juan and Angie Photography. We’ve had multiple family photo sessions done with them since our kids were babies and have always been over the moon with the results. They make the experience fun and stress-free, and capture both candid and posed moments that you’ll cherish forever. Mini Sessions cost $250 for a 20 minute sitting and come with a minimum of 20 edited images, and May 28 is their next mini session offering (there won’t be another one till Fall, so book yours quick!) Whether you’re looking for a mini session or a full family shoot, prices start at $349. Jennie is also offering a new photography option that’s unique in Calgary, called Generational Love – A Year of Family Portraits. With this subscription, you receive 1 Full Family Session, 2 Seasonal Mini-Shoots, and a fine art family album to capture the year at the end. It’s the perfect way to watch your family grow over the course of a year. You also get free access to children’s clothing rentals in the client wardrobe, a wardrobe consultation for each session, and an online gallery and store of all the final images where anyone you share the gallery with can purchase prints. Cost for this subscription is $1499 or four instalments of $399.75.

My kids had the pleasure of working with Margot and had a blast during their 30 minute photo sessions. She made them feel relaxed, comfortable, and encouraged them to be their authentic, silly selves. The photos we received perfectly captured essence of their personalities and it was so hard to narrow down our favourites! For $150 you get a gallery where you can choose your top two poses which can be printed at a vendor of your choosing. Additional images can be purchased for $50.

With your package, you receive up to 90 minutes of photography and 50 edited images, as well as wardrobe consultation and access to a client closet.
