Let’s buck the trend and not talk about the flu. Let’s talk about soup instead. Then again, soup is good for flu-sufferers (or those in weary anticipation of it).
Flu or no flu, many families just don’t have the time, skill or inclination to whip up a hearty (and healthy) batch of the old-fashioned comfort stuff that Grandma used to make from scratch.
Zuppa Soup Co. is grabbing Grandma’s reigns with homemade soup made from homemade stock and delivered directly to your home kitchen. Owner, chef and mother of two, Jacqui (Saucy) Goldman (aptly nicknamed) is a lifetime foodie, self-taught cook and dinner-slinging entrepreneur who has finally decided to bring her soup to market after years of encouragement from friends and self-appointed taste testers.
Menu items like Curried Roasted Cauliflower soup with Coriander Chutney, Tomatillo Salsa or Lentil Tapenade (Zuppa sells soups, salads and dips), are emailed to subscribers weekly. You order, Zuppa delivers and you leave a cooler and payment on your front step to complete the transaction. Delivery is free and available within city limits.
