It’s a must-do every year and a lovely family tradition. The music, the floats, and the anticipation of seeing the big man himself…we love it all. Here’s where to catch the man in red himself around town this winter.
Annual High River Santa Claus Parade: Friday, December 4
With live music, hot chocolate, and photo opportunities with Mister Christmas himself to keep you occupied, you shouldn’t get cold feet waiting around for the main event to start. The procession kicks off at 6:30 pm on Friday evening, but holiday activities continue throughout December, including a family skating party and craft fair later in the month.
Banff Santa Claus Parade of Lights: Saturday, December 5
If you can make the trip, the spectacular mountain background of Banff will make it all worthwhile. There’s just nothing like celebrating the season in this magical atmosphere. Make a day of it and be ready to catch the parade at 5:30 pm.
