Just because the Easter bunny brings tempting treats to our youngsters, doesn’t mean we can’t hop on the DIY chocolate train. Families looking for an extra sweet Good Friday should head to Cuisine et Chateau’s Interactive Culinary Centre for a Family Chocolate Class on April 18.
Mini chefs and their caregivers dive deep into a decadent world as they learn to prepare chocolate eggs filled with milk chocolate caramel, English toffee chocolate bark and double chocolate brownies during the three hour hands-on class.
Geared towards kids eight years and up, participants receive an apron, recipe booklet and of course, loads of chocolate to take home.
Don’t fret if you can’t make this event. A variety of classes take place each week at the centre. We’ve got our eye on ‘The Best of Brunch: In the Kitchen with Mom’ on Saturday May 10, and the Mother’s Day Brunch, where we won’t have to lift a finger. Now we’re cooking.
