Calgary’s brightest winter festival is back to light up Stephen Avenue for 3 nights! Slip down an ice slide, try your hand at BATL Axe Throwing, and watch carvers create mesmerizing works of art from blocks of ice. Visit the Sugar Shack for a tasty winter treat and listen to 35 musical artists as they hit one of the three outdoor stages. Enjoy the beautiful lights as you warm up by one of the fire pits on the Ave – it’s the perfect way to spend a winter evening outside!

There’s plenty to do both inside and out at the Bow Habitat Station to celebrate the long weekend! Join in the fun with free activities like snowshoeing, a magnetic ice fishing game, tic-tac-toe, a bean bag toss, trivia, a scavenger hunt, marshmallow roasting, a predator-pray game, fly-tying, casting practice and more. There will also be reduced admission ($5 + tax) to the Discovery Centre. This is the perfect weekend to get hooked on fishing.

No problem – they can be rented at the Olympic Oval Skate Shop. When you’re done skating, sip hot chocolate, and snap a picture with mascots from The Costume Shoppe. Don’t forget to check out the photo booth and try your hand at giant games for the whole family.
