On a particularly beautiful, insanely cold winters day, together with my husband and my eight year old son, we set out on the adventure of a lifetime, with two professional mushers and three teams of dogs, eighteen huskies in total. In a shrinking world, where real adventure rarely makes an appearance in our urban existence, dog sledding has to rank up there as one of them.
