Summer is all about sand, surf and – solving equations?
With the end of school quickly approaching, finding the right summer camp has become the next mommy quest. While we love the camps that let our kids be kids, who says that a little education thrown in the mix is a bad thing?
That’s what we like about Bright Minds’ Summer Camps. They’re perfect for those kids who love numbers and all things ‘math,’ while also providing a great introduction to mathematical concepts in a fun, playful environment. Designed for kids in Kindergarten up to grade five, all the programs have kids solving riddles, exploring logic games and trying out mental calculations. Bright Minds’ Summer Camp options include Brainwaves (for kids aged 5 to 10), and Fun with Fractions (for kids aged 10 to 15). Weekly camps are held in July and August at the Renert Centre on Macleod Trail South. Half-day camps for the younger set and evening options for older kids are also available.
