As we enter 2016, it’s the perfect time to make plans and try something new in the city. Our New Year’s resolution is to be a tourist in our own city and take advantage of all the fantastic family-friendly activities Ottawa has to offer. Here’s what’s on our bucket list this winter.
Try Rock Climbing
Is being more active on your resolution list in 2016? Is so, you’ll want to take the family to Altitude Gym. This indoor rock climbing gym is bringing adventure to new heights in Gatineau. Look for their special evening rates and put yourself to the challenge.
Go for a Skate
If the canal’s current watery state has you feeling bummed, then glide over to Lansdowne Skating Park instead. Bring your own skates and make a day of it by walking around all of the shops and restaurants that Lansdowne has to offer when you are done.
Diefenbunker
Did you know the Diefenbunker Cold War Museum is open year round? Step back in time, (and into the depths of the Earth), when you visit this historic underground bunker.
This January, we’re heading to all those local attractions we’ve just never got around to. Click here to see our full Ottawa Winter Family Activity Bucket List.
