It’s showtime! But instead of popcorn and 3D glasses, we’re enjoying a different kind of outdoor spectacle at the moment’the fall leaves. In red and gold and green and brown, they are bedazzling. The best way to enjoy this show is to take your family on a hike.
We’ve got a lot of great ideas for family hikes in our region. They’re all good places to see autumn right up close.
If you’re up for the hills, go to the Gatineau Hills! Pink Lake is a great destination, but be warned: the Parkway can get really busy during peak periods. Check the NCC website for maps of trails that are a good fit for your family before you head out.
