The Calgary Public Library has just about every kind of class you can imagine, for everyone in the family from kids to teens and parents. Check out parented singing and storytime classes for babies, counting classes for toddlers, and learn how to code and play chess with older kiddos. There are all kinds of storytime classes offered in a variety of languages as well. Check their website to see what classes are available at a library near you.

For families interested in pottery and ceramics, the North Mount Pleasant Arts Centre has a Family Potter’s Wheel course for parents and kids between 9 and 12, a Family Clay Projects course for kids 4-10 and their parents, and a Family Arts Combo class also for kids between 4 and 10 years. The current sessions for this term are full, but keep your eyes peeled for sessions beginning in the spring!
