Kids are always looking for ways to jump, bounce and roll and gymnastics is a fantastic opportunity for them to burn off some energy and learn new skills. They’ll develop strength while having a lot of fun.
Here are the gymnastics centres where your kids can take classes and grow their interest in the sport. Keep an eye out for drop-in opportunities at various locations as well; it’s a great way to introduce your child to gymnastics to see how much they love it.
Tip: Many of the gymnastic centres also offer summer, school break and PD Day Camps. They also make for excellent birthday party locations and many offer special packages. Visit the websites to find out what is available near you.

Located in Westboro, the Ottawa Gymnastics Centre was established in 1960, so it knows many things about creating a gymnastics program your kids will love. Whether you are trying out the recreational or competitive program, families in Ottawa have been coming here for decades to build their gymnastic fundamentals.

Gymnasts as young as 5 years old can join the recreational programs at Corona School of Gymnastics in Nepean where they earn a badge as they pass through each level. Competitive is also offered and older children aged 8 and up may also be interested in the acro/trampoline classes as well. If your child isn’t comfortable learning a group setting, look into their private lesson availability instead.
