Summer is just around the corner. And for kids, that’s cause for celebration, as it means being out of school with loads of free time.
While that’s great for them, it’s a little less thrilling for us parents. After all, we have to find activities that will keep the kids busy most days throughout the summer.
For all the fellow beleaguered parents at your wit’s end about what to do, the City of Mississauga has you covered with a number of affordable and high-quality summer camps that are being offered at community centres, libraries and cultural facilities across the city.
The camps – which feature many different activities and themes – are for children as young as four right up to teenagers. There’s both half-day and full-day camps, providing parents with plenty of flexibility.
Below are just some of the more than one hundred camps the municipality is offering this year.
However, don’t wait too long to choose! City officials say the most popular camps tend to fill up rather quickly and that early registration is highly recommended. If you’re interested in booking a spot, you can do so by visiting activemississauga.ca.
